Our Grading Scale

Collectors demand perfection. Because box integrity — shelf wear, sun damage, corner dents — dictates true value, GUNPLA@CC operates under a rigorous internal validation matrix. Every kit undergoes a multi-point inspection before receiving its final Toy or Collectible classification.

Our Standard: Every kit is individually inspected, photographed from every angle, and graded before listing. All imperfections are disclosed honestly — no surprises, no hidden defects, no ambiguity.

Kit Condition Grades

Grade Condition Description

Box Condition Assessment

Box condition is assessed separately from kit condition and evaluated on four key factors:

Factor What We Check Grading Notes
Shelf Wear Surface scratches, scuffing, edge wear from handling and storage Minor shelf wear is normal for vintage items. Severe wear is noted and photographed.
Sun Damage Fading, yellowing, or discoloration from UV exposure Even light sun fade is disclosed. Box art color accuracy is compared to reference images.
Corner & Edge Damage Dents, crushes, tears, or punctures at corners and edges Corner dents are common on older boxes. Size and severity are measured and photographed.
Seal Integrity Original factory seals, tape, shrink wrap condition For sealed kits, we verify original seal patterns and check for resealing indicators.

Photo Verification Process

Every kit we list goes through our photo verification process:

  1. Box exterior — All six sides photographed, including any wear, damage, or marking
  2. Box interior — Contents visible with runners, bags, and accessories laid out
  3. Runner close-ups — Individual runners photographed for completeness verification
  4. Manual & decals — Document condition and presence of all inserts
  5. Seal detail — For sealed kits, close-up of seal and tape patterns
